The STIHL RMA 253 is an entry-level battery-powered push-along lawn mower suitable for maintaining small to medium-sized lawns. As a part of the new 2 Series battery-powered lawn mowers, it stands out as a lightweight and quiet mower equipped with innovative features, rendering it the optimal choice for home gardeners.
Crafted with a sheet steel deck, this lawn mower boasts a 51cm cutting width and single-point height adjustment, which can be fine-tuned between 20 and 100 mm. The RMA 253 is seamlessly integrated into the AK System range of tools and operates with an AK 30 S battery, compatible with other machines across the range. Housing two slots in the powerhead for AK batteries enables quick switching when one depletes. With a fully charged recommended AK 30 S battery, users can mow lawns up to 275m².
Offering four mowing options, this mower provides versatility without the need for additional tools. Users can choose to:
- Cut and collect with the grass catcher box attached
- Cut and drop by removing the catcher box
- Opt for side discharge using the integrated flap
- Mulch with the multi-blade and attachment
The comfort mono-handlebar facilitates convenient access to the grass catcher box, simplifying removal and emptying when full. Additionally, the fill level indicator on the grass catcher box ensures timely emptying. Ergonomically designed, the 55-litre grass catcher box offers easy full opening and swift emptying. The sturdy mono-handlebar is height adjustable and foldable for compact storage after use.
