ErgoStart is a spring assisted starting system which makes the MS211C-BE exceptionally easy to start. We would always urge caution when storing a chainsaw to ensure that it is kept out of reach of children but we urge extra caution on saws fitted with ErgoStart because of the ease with which these saws can be started.

The Stihl MS211C-BE has a modern design and uses an economical Stihl 2-MIX engine. The 35.2cc engine generates 1.7kW / 2.3hp which gives good mid-range homeowner performance.

The MS211C-BE’s engine is fitted with a compensator to ensure that the engine keeps running at peak performance even when the air filter starts to get dirty. The MS211C-BE also features Stihl’s long-life air filter system to ensure maximum life from the air filter. When it is time for a spot of maintenance, the top cover is easy to remove without the need for tools.

Chain tensioning is achieved on the Stihl MS211C-BE via the tool-free Quick Chain tensioning system.  Just loosen the side case, adjust the chain tension with the adjuster wheel and re-tighten the side case.

The Stihl MS211C-BE is available with a 14” (35cm) or 16” (40cm) guide bar. Please note, cutting length will always be a little shorter than the bar length because of the way guide bars are measured. The difference between the guide bar length and cutting length varies by chainsaw model.
