Product Details & Features
The Mountfield MTF 98M-SD is the ideal petrol ride on mower for cutting larger areas of grass. With its 38" (98cm) width of cut and side discharge of the grass cuttings, this ride on mower offers superior cutting performance.
With 5 forward gears to choose from, you can select the most appropriate speed for the task at hand. If you find yourself in a corner or with an obstacle you can't turn around, the reverse gear will allow you to back out and continue without hassle.
An optional mulch plug is available to convert this ride on mower into mulching the grass cuttings.
The blades are engaged electronically via a switch on the dashboard. Once cutting is underway, the grass clippings are effortlessly discharged to the side of the mower.
The height of cut is adjusted by a single lever offering cutting heights between 25 and 80mm. So, whether it is a lawn, orchard or roadside verge you are cutting, there will be a height of cut to suit.
When cutting is finished, a wash port allows grass clippings to be cleaned from the underside of the cutter deck without you ever needing to go near the blades.
