Used in conjunction with a flat file, Husqvarna’s specially designed depth gauge tool allows you to file the depth gauges on your chainsaw chain to the correct setting relative to the cutters.
Often overlooked when sharpening a chain, setting the depth gauge is just as important as sharpening the cutters. With a depth gauge tool it is easy to achieve the right setting. Simply rest the gauge on the chain and file the depth gauge with a flat file.
