Logging, tree felling and property maintenance jobs are no problem for the 50.2cc Husqvarna 450 chainsaw. The 450 is mid-upper range in Husqvarna’s range of occasional use chainsaws and is built to the standard you would expect from one of the world’s leading manufacturers of professional chainsaws.
The Husqvarna 450 is packed full of features such as:-
Air Injection – to pre clean the air before it enters the air filter to give longer filter life.
Low Vib – to minimise as far as possible the user’s exposure to vibration.
Smart Start – to reduce the effort required to start the chainsaw to a minimum.
X-Torq – to reduce emissions, improve fuel efficiency and increase engine torque.
Ergonomic Rear Handle – increased comfort with soft inlay, ergonomic trigger and asymmetrical handle.
Starting and stopping the Husqvarna 450 is made easy with the combined on/off and choke control. A single lever controls the running, choke, half choke and stop functions.
A visible fuel level means that you can see when it is time to refuel. The flip-up tank caps make opening and closing the fuel and chain oil tanks easy when refuelling and topping up chain oil.
Chain tensioning is achieved on the Husqvarna 450 by loosening a single nut (combination tool provided) and using the side chain tensioner which keeps your hands away from the chain whilst turning the adjuster. An aluminium side case makes the 450 more robust than other chainsaws on the market that use a plastic side case.
Access to the air filter is easy thanks to the snap-lock top cover which can be removed quickly to gain access to the top of the engine. Being able to snap off the cover is essential to minimising down time for those routine maintenance tasks.
The Husqvarna 450 chainsaw is the perfect choice for anyone wanting a robust occasional use chainsaw with professional qualities at a down to earth price.
The Husqvarna 450 is available with a 13” (33cm), 15” (38cm) or 18” (45cm) guide bar. Please note, cutting length will always be a little shorter than the bar length because of the way guide bars are measured. The difference between the guide bar length and cutting length varies by chainsaw model.
Air Injection
Husqvarna’s Air Injection pre cleans the air before induction into the engine which reduces wear and air filter maintenance.
Smart Start
Husqvarna’s Smart Start mechanically assists starting by significantly reducing the effort required to pull the recoil starter rope.
Flip-Up Tank Caps
Quick release fuel tank and oil tank caps make topping up with fuel and chain oil quick and easy.
