In just a few minutes you can turn your mower into a powered aerator with a QC Aerator Cartridge.
The Allett QC Aerator uses a series of two pronged slitting tines to aerate your lawn. The slits created by the aerator allow vital air and water to reach the grass roots. The slitting action has the added benefit of pruning the grass roots causing vigorous growth.
As a general guide, and depending on the prevailing conditions, you would use an aerator from March to November.

In just a few minutes you can turn your mower into a powered lawn brush with a QC Lawn Brush Cartridge.
The Allett QC Lawn Brush lets you turn your mower into a powered brush for clearing worm casts, leaves and other debris from your lawn. The brush is also useful for working in top dressing.
As a general guide, and depending on the prevailing conditions, you would use a lawn brush in January, February, March, May, June, August, October and November.

In just a few minutes you can turn your mower into a powered dethatcher with a QC Dethatcher Cartridge.
The Allett QC Dethatcher uses a series of widely spaced hooked blades to give an aggressive scarification to your lawn in early and late season. The tines penetrate the soil to a maximum of 6mm to remove the densest layers of thatch.
As a general guide, and depending on the prevailing conditions, you would use a dethatcher in February or March and September or October.

In just a few minutes you can turn your mower into a verticutter with a QC Verticutter Cartridge.
The Allett QC Verticutter uses a series of closely spaced blades for “vertical mowing”. The verticutter blades stand up the blades of grass and remove lateral growth and moss. When used regularly the verticutter will encourage a denser and more regimented sward.
As a general guide, and depending on the prevailing conditions, you would use a verticutter from April to October.

With a five bladed cylinder, the Allett Classic 17L will give a precision cut to your lawn. Powered by an 79cc Loncin engine and with a 17” (43cm) width of cut, this mower is at home on medium sized lawns.
The Allett Classic 17L is fitted with a Quick Cartridge (QC) system that allows the cylinder unit to be removed quickly for ease of maintenance. The cylinder cartridge can be replaced with a range of other cartridges to turn your mower into a complete lawn care system. Choose from an aerator, lawn brush, dethatcher, verticutter and lawn rake. The standard six blade cylinder cartridge can also be replaced with a ten blade cartridge for an even finer cut. Please note that, whilst the full range of 17" (43cm) interchangeable cartridges will fit into this mower, the effectiveness of all but the scarifier cartridge is limited by the pre-determined height adjuster increments.
The front and rear rollers are close to the cutting cylinder to help prevent scalping and the heavy steel rear roller ensures a traditional striped finish to your lawn.
The height of cut is easily adjusted via a dial on the side of the mower that gives five heights of cut and an additional setting for very low cutting or use with the optional cartridges.
When the mowing is done, the grass box cradle folds up and the handles fold for ease of storage.
Quick Cartridge
The Quick Cartridge (QC) system allows your Allett Classic to perform a range of lawncare tasks. The optional cartridges can be fitted quickly and easily in place of the cutting cylinder.
