The Stihl RM545VR is a 17” (43cm) variable speed drive rear roller mower that is suitable for small to medium sized lawns requiring that classic striped finish.

As you would expect from Stihl, the RM545VR is a quality mower that is packed with features to help make cutting the lawn that little bit easier.

The variable speed drive allows you to choose a forward walking pace to suit you and the cutting conditions. The speed is easily varied between 2.2 and 4.0km/h. When the drive is not in use, you can push and pull the mower with ease to facilitate cutting in those tricky corners.

A single point height of cut adjuster allows you to change the height from a single position making changes to the cutting height very quick and easy.

The rear roller of the RM545VR is split allowing each half to rotate independently. This minimises scuffing when making tight turns. The roller with give that traditional striped finish to your lawn and will also assist with cutting up to lawn edges. If you have lawn edges where the grass drops away into a flower bed for example, the rear roller will keep the mower supported on the lawn even if the roller is allowed to overhang the lawn edge.

The position of the rear roller is such that the RM545VR is a well-balanced mower. Very little effort is required to push down on the handles when turning the mower. So, combined with the split roller, turning the RM545VR around is almost effortless.

The grass box is a rigid construction which allows for larger airflow holes than would typically be found on a fabric sided grass bag. This allows for improved airflow to assist grass collection and easier cleaning. A handy grass box full indicator allows you to see when it is time to empty the box. The large 60 litre capacity of the grass box minimises the number of times you will need to stop to empty and, when it is time to empty, the hinged lid of the grass box makes emptying a really simple job.

If grass collection is not required, the grass box can be left off the mower and the clippings discharged to the ground behind the mower.

Power is provided by Stihl’s reliable EVC300 engine which is easy to start and quite running.

The handle features a soft grip and has three height settings for operator comfort. When the mowing is done, the handle can easily be folded for storage.

Easily Adjust Cutting Height

From a single point, the front wheels and the rear roller can be adjusted simultaneously to set the height of cut.

Grass Collector Full Indicator

When air is flowing freely through the grass collector, the indicator will rise. When the indicator drops, airflow has been lost indicating that the collector is full.

Variable Speed Drive

Control is in your hands with variable speed drive. Adjust the mowing speed to suit the conditions and environment by using the control lever on the handlebar. Speed up during the straights and slow down around obstacles.

Split Rear Roller

A split rear roller at the rear of the mower provides stability and makes it easier to mow the edges of your lawn and bordering flowerbeds. Plus, you'll be able to create lawn stripes too.
