The Honda Izy HRG466SKEP is an 18”/46cm self-propelled rotary mower that is simple to operate and is suitable for medium sized lawns.

A robust steel cutter deck forms the chassis of the mower, the underside of which is specially shaped to give excellent airflow for great collection performance.

The Honda Izy HRG466SKEP is powered by a reliable 145cc Honda engine. A key characteristic of all Honda mower engines is their ease of starting and on the Izy HRG466SKEP the auto-choke feature and fixed throttle ensure that the engine is always ready to start with just one or two pulls of the recoil starter rope.

Once the Honda Izy HRG466SKEP has started, you will notice how quiet the mower is and how gentle the tone of the noise is on the ear. The comfortable handles and large wheels mean that the mower is very easy to manoeuvre around your garden.

Navigating the mower around the garden is very easy. A simple lever operates the drive system. Engage the lever and the drive starts. Let the lever go and the drive stops. With the drive disengaged, you can push and pull the mower so turning at the end of a run and negotiating tricky areas of the lawn are no problem.

The height of cut is adjusted with easy to use levers. There is one lever for the front of the mower and one for the back giving six positions to choose from.

The Honda Izy HRG466SKEP is fitted with Honda's Versamow Selective Mulching system which offers both the traditional cut-and-collect / cut-and-discharge options as well as a cut-and-mulch option. Mulching allows the grass to be cut into tiny pieces and returned to the ground as a fertilizer whilst leaving a finish that looks like the grass clippings have been collected. Changing between cut-and-collect / discharge and cut-and-mulch is as easy as moving a lever.

When you are collecting the clippings, the good sized grass bag ensures minimal interruptions for emptying and, when the cutting is done, the handles on the Izy HRG466SKEP can easily be folded for storage or transportation.

Versamow Selective Mulching

Cut-and-collect or cut-and-mulch. Choose your preferred option via a simple to use lever.

Versamow Selective Mulching On

In the mulching position, the Versamow Selective Mulching system keeps the grass clippings in the cutting chamber to be cut into tiny pieces and returned to the lawn giving the appearance of collection but the tiny pieces of grass act as a free fertilizer for your lawn.

Versamow Selective Mulching Off

In the discharge position, the Versamow Selective Mulching discharges the clippings out of the rear of the mower into the grass bag or down to the ground.
